Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 – Eternis Fine Chemicals Limited has appointed Hari Menon as its new Global Chief Human Resources Officer, marking a significant milestone as the company accelerates its global growth and transformation journey. Backed by over two decades of HR leadership across premier multinationals, Menon is expected to drive the organization’s global people agenda and talent transformation as the company strengthens its footprint across international markets.
Prior to this appointment, Hari Menon served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. for the South Asia and Middle East Region. In this role, he was responsible for all group businesses spanning shipping, logistics, terminals, offshore wind power generation, clean energy, and real estate/property. His leadership in group human capital strategy was pivotal in driving business growth and operational excellence across the region.
Before joining Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Menon was Vice President of Human Resources International Network at CMA CGM, based at the company’s global headquarters in France. He managed a network of over 500 HR professionals across six global regions and led HR business partnership for a massive international transportation network. His tenure at CMA CGM was marked by his ability to navigate complex, multicultural environments and by building a high-performance HR function that spanned continents and business lines.
Earlier, at Alstom, Menon held multiple senior HR leadership roles, including Vice President HR & Group Talent Management Leader at the Paris headquarters and Vice President for Human Resources Asia Pacific Region in Singapore. He led the global talent strategy for Alstom, spearheading leadership development for the top 500 executives, implementing a robust succession plan, and driving talent and diversity interventions at scale. As a board member for Alstom India, he contributed to business expansion and operational excellence across India, China, Oceania, and Southeast Asia.
Menon’s career began in the TATA Group as an HR Manager, where he was part of the core team responsible for the establishment and growth of Tata Telecom Services in North India. He further held roles at RealTime System Ltd. and gained early exposure through a management traineeship at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, developing strong foundations in industrial relations and personnel administration.
In addition to his corporate journey, Menon has contributed as a special invitee and honorary member of the Forbes Human Resources Council, reflecting his recognition as a thought leader in the global HR community.
