Hyderabad, Telangana, India, July 2025 – Padmanabhan S. has been appointed as the Head – Human Resources at PI Health Sciences, a leading integrated drug discovery and development company with operations in India and Italy. With over 32 years of experience in human resources leadership across pharmaceutical, engineering, and manufacturing industries, Padmanabhan brings deep expertise in strategic HR, legal compliance, and global people management to his new role.
Prior to this appointment, Padmanabhan served as Chief Human Resources Officer at MSN Laboratories for nearly 3 years, where he led large-scale HR transformation efforts, strengthened compliance frameworks, and enhanced employee engagement across the organization’s operations in Hyderabad.
Before joining MSN Laboratories, he was associated with Larsen & Toubro for approximately 5 years, holding multiple leadership roles including Joint General Manager – Human Resources for Heavy Civil Infrastructure and Head – HR (Global Operations) for the Power Transmission & Distribution business. During his tenure, he led HR operations across India, the Middle East, Africa, ASEAN, and CIS regions, spearheading leadership development and project capability building.
Padmanabhan also held the position of Vice President – HR (Technical & Operations) at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, where he led HR initiatives for manufacturing and R&D divisions, including API, formulations, biologics, and CRO segments. His longest tenure was at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he spent over 11 years in progressive HR roles, ultimately serving as Senior Director – HR, overseeing the HR function for seven API facilities with more than 5,000 employees.
Earlier in his career, Padmanabhan worked in key HR roles at NCR Corporation, Titan Industries, KONE Elevators, and SRP Tools, building a strong foundation in industrial relations, employee engagement, and manufacturing HR practices.
