Makkah, Saudi Arabia, July 2025 — Saeed A. AlMufadali has been appointed as Head of Human Resources & Administration at Umm Al Qura for Development and Construction, the visionary developer behind the Masar Destination. With a career spanning over two decades across leading organizations in Saudi Arabia’s public and private sectors, Saeed brings a wealth of experience in human capital leadership, organizational development, and HR transformation.
Prior to this role, he served as Vice President – Human Resources at CATRION, where he was a member of the executive leadership team and led HR operations for a $1 billion enterprise with over 5,000 employees. His strategic initiatives included succession planning, performance management, talent development, ESG strategy, and total rewards programs aligned with national regulations.
Earlier, Saeed was the Director of Human Capital at Saudi Airlines Catering Company, where he drove initiatives in workforce strategy, HR modernization, employee engagement, and leadership succession planning. He also played a critical role in positioning the organization as an employer of choice within its sector.
At Ma’aden, the Saudi Arabian mining giant, Saeed held dual leadership positions over nearly nine years, including Senior Manager – Strategy and Performance and Manager – Human Resources. There, he contributed to the formulation of integrated business plans, budget alignment, and human capital systems that supported long-term growth and operational excellence.
Saeed’s earlier career includes progressive HR roles at SABIC, one of the world’s largest petrochemical companies, and at the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, where he focused on compensation, organizational design, and employee relations.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management from the University of Business & Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from King Abdulaziz University.
