Christopher Volmer Appointed as Vice President, Human Resources at Greco and Sons, Inc.

Overland Park, Kansas, United States, August 2024 – Christopher Volmer has begun his new role as Vice President, Human Resources at Greco and Sons, Inc. In this leadership position, Christopher will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources within the company, ensuring the alignment of HR strategies with the organization’s goals. His role is crucial in fostering a positive work environment and driving organizational success across Greco and Sons’ multiple operating facilities nationwide.

Prior to joining Greco and Sons, Inc., Christopher served as Market Vice President, Human Resources – North Market at Sysco for nearly three years. In this role, he led HR initiatives across multiple regions, driving associate retention strategies, enhancing employee engagement, and facilitating communication between leadership and employees.

Before his tenure at Sysco, Christopher was the Senior Director – Associate Relations at Sysco, where he focused on resolving issues affecting employee morale and productivity. He also played a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing corporate compliance and internal investigations.

Earlier in his career, Christopher held the position of Human Resources Officer (Director) at Northern State Bank of Thief River Falls for around seven months. In this role, he worked closely with the executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that aligned with the company’s vision and goals.

In addition to these roles, Christopher has had an extensive career in HR, including positions such as Senior Assurance Recruiter at Eide Bailly LLP and Training & Quality Assurance Manager at Bank of the West. His varied experiences across industries have equipped him with a well-rounded perspective on human resources management.
