Rosyth, Scotland, United Kingdom, July 2025 – Danny Caines has taken on the role of Head of Talent Acquisition at Babcock International Group, where he will lead the permanent hiring strategy and delivery for the organization. This marks a significant career progression for Danny within Babcock, reflecting his deep expertise and contributions to talent strategy and resourcing.
Prior to this role, Danny Caines served as Resourcing Project Manager – Type 31 Programme at Babcock International Group, where he played a vital role in managing resourcing for a key defence project. His tenure of over a year saw him contribute to the enhancement of recruitment systems and workforce strategy in alignment with the business’s broader objectives.
Before joining Babcock, Danny was the Group Head of Talent Acquisition at Nortal, where he led global hiring efforts across strategic consulting, data, and technology. His efforts helped scale the company’s talent strategy in high-impact markets, contributing to Nortal’s global footprint.
Previously, he worked with Scede as Director, helping scale high-growth tech companies through embedded hiring solutions. He also held the position of Global Talent Acquisition Lead at LumiraDx, a med-tech company where he built and led recruitment operations during a critical growth phase.
Earlier in his career, Danny held recruitment leadership roles with BJSS, Sky, and J.P. Morgan, among others. His career spans more than two decades across tech, defence, and finance sectors, giving him a deep and diverse recruitment background.
