Kari Foote Appointed as Vice President – Talent Development at Carson Group

Omaha, Nebraska, United States, July 2025 – Kari Foote has taken on a new role as Vice President – Talent Development at Carson Group, where she leads the enterprise strategy for Talent Development, Corporate Social Responsibility, Talent Management, and Culture and Engagement. Her focus remains on building scalable, people-first talent programs that enhance leadership, strengthen organizational culture, and improve overall performance.

Prior to joining Carson Group, Kari served as Director – Talent Experience at Medical Solutions for approximately two years. There, she spearheaded organization-wide culture and engagement programs across a dispersed workforce of over 2,000 employees, managed DEIB initiatives, designed employee voice strategies, and led large-scale recognition, change communication, and event efforts across the enterprise.

Before that, she was briefly associated with Farm Credit Services of America as an HR Business Partner, where she offered senior HR counsel, supported talent system implementation, and led an internal communications transformation project. Her strategic influence and project execution strengthened the HR infrastructure for talent and leadership development.

Over a four-year stint at Leadership Resources, she was Director of Leadership Development, leading a team of coaches and facilitators, developing comprehensive leadership curricula, and delivering executive coaching services. Her experience there cemented her reputation in leadership enablement and executive advisory.

Earlier in her career, Kari held various key HR leadership roles across government organizations including City of Lincoln/Lancaster County, State of Nebraska, and Nebraska State Patrol, where she led workforce strategy, employee relations, talent acquisition, policy compliance, and high-profile executive recruitment. Her extensive background in public service HR showcases her depth in navigating complex, regulated environments and developing people-centric HR frameworks.
