Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2025 — Vikas Singhal has been appointed as CEO – Special Projects & Head Strategic Initiatives at Rustomjee, bringing with him over 30 years of leadership experience in real estate, construction, and strategic growth. In this role, he will spearhead key initiatives aimed at enhancing operational excellence and driving the company’s long-term vision.
Before joining Rustomjee, Vikas spent more than 12 years at Godrej Properties Limited, where he served as Chief Operations Officer and was a part of the Management Committee. He led large-scale project execution, safety, quality, procurement, and innovation, championing advancements in construction technology, cost leadership, and strategic partnerships. His leadership played a pivotal role in reducing construction timelines, improving quality standards, and unlocking capital faster through operational efficiency.
Prior to Godrej Properties, Vikas held senior leadership roles at Emaar MGF, including Assistant Vice President, General Manager, and Head of the Southern Region. He was responsible for managing commercial and residential projects from concept to delivery, leading design and project teams, and implementing processes that improved efficiency, reduced risk, and strengthened market positioning.
Vikas began his career at Larsen & Toubro Limited, spending nearly 15 years working on diverse industrial and development projects, including cement plants, power plants, airports, metro projects, and IT parks. An IIT-BHU graduate, he is widely recognised for scaling operations, improving quality standards, and achieving capital efficiency in highly competitive markets.
