Los Angeles, California, United States, August 2025 – Nhan D. has been appointed as Vice President – People Business Partner at Universal Music Group (UMG). In this new role, she will partner with executive leadership to align people strategies with overarching business goals, act as a strategic ally in shaping human capital for the future, and continue building an inclusive, high-performing workplace where employees can thrive and deliver excellence in a dynamic music and entertainment environment.
Prior to this, Nhan spent more than nine years at Louis Vuitton Americas as Senior Director of Human Resources, where she led people strategies across multiple markets, fostered talent development, and drove HR transformation to support business expansion and operational excellence.
Before her tenure at Louis Vuitton, she served for one year as Director of Human Resources at Vince, where she implemented HR strategies supporting short- and long-term objectives, advanced organizational design, succession planning, retention strategies, and employee engagement initiatives across diverse functions.
Earlier, Nhan was Regional Human Resources Manager at Prada Group for over one year, leading HR for Prada and Miu Miu across multiple U.S. states and Canada, aligning talent management programs, performance initiatives, and recruitment strategies with the company’s growth agenda.
Her earlier career includes HR leadership roles at Oakley, Sports Authority, Forever 21, Guess Inc., and Fossil, where she built a strong foundation in retail HR management, multi-state operations support, succession planning, and employee relations.
