London, England, United Kingdom, August 2025 – Syneos Health has appointed Vandana K Longland as Vice President, Human Resources, marking a significant addition to its global leadership team. In her new role, Vandana will lead HR strategy, organizational development, and talent initiatives to support Syneos Health’s integrated biopharmaceutical solutions business worldwide.
Before joining Syneos Health, Vandana K Longland served for nearly 13 years at IQVIA, culminating in her role as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Technology & Commercial Solutions. At IQVIA, she led a major business unit of over 12,000 employees, overseeing global HR operations and designing multi-year HR strategies in collaboration with the business unit president. Her contributions included global expansion of centers of excellence, strategic cost-saving initiatives through automation and in-sourcing, and building robust leadership development and inclusion programs. Her leadership was instrumental in improving employee engagement and achieving internal hiring targets.
Prior to that, Vandana held multiple progressive roles at IQVIA as Senior HR Business Partner and HR Business Partner for EMEA, where she focused on talent management, engagement, and learning initiatives for global technology and operations teams. Her responsibilities also included regional alignment of HR practices and supporting retention strategies.
Earlier, Vandana spent over five years at Colt Technology Services as Business Partner, Human Resources, where she led large-scale organizational restructuring aligned with the company’s customer-focused strategy. She was pivotal in implementing shared services models, service orientation frameworks, and training programs for leadership effectiveness across Europe.
Her earlier roles included Senior Advisor, Human Resources, HR Consultant at Spearhead Intersearch, and HR Assistant and Risk Analyst at American Express, rounding off a diverse and comprehensive foundation in HR across industries.
Vandana K Longland holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Middlesex University, and is also an alumna of FORE School of Management, New Delhi.
