Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, August 2025 – Debbie Ross has been appointed as Head of People and Culture at Communicorp UK, a leading media group home to major radio brands including Capital, Heart, Smooth, and Radio X. In her new role, Ross will oversee people strategy, talent development, and organizational culture across the company’s national operations.
Ross has been with Communicorp UK since 2021, most recently serving as People & Culture Manager for over four years. In that role, she played a key part in strengthening employee engagement, HR processes, and leadership development initiatives that supported the company’s growth.
She brings more than two decades of HR experience spanning multiple industries including media, retail, hospitality, and healthcare. Prior to joining Communicorp UK, Ross served as Regional HR Business Partner at Arcadia Group, where she supported large-scale retail operations through workforce planning, employee relations, and people development.
Earlier, she held interim HR and recruitment roles with organizations such as Interstate Hotels & Resorts, University of Glasgow, NHS 24, One Thumb Mobile, BBC, and others, gaining diverse experience in HR strategy, recruitment, training, and cultural transformation.
Her career began in HR and operations leadership roles at First People Solutions, Source Selection Ltd, Locumlink, and the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland, where she built her foundation in recruitment, workforce operations, and organizational management.
