KOZHIKODE, Kerala, India, August 2025 – Shibin Chulliparambil has joined Malabar Group as Head of Information Technology, marking a pivotal step in the organization’s ongoing digital transformation journey. With a technology leadership career spanning more than two decades, Shibin brings deep expertise in IT strategy, infrastructure management, and enterprise transformation across diverse industries and geographies.

Prior to joining Malabar Group, Shibin served as Head of Information Technology at Blue Star Limited, where he led critical IT initiatives across the organization and contributed to enhanced digital resilience and innovation. His leadership helped drive scalable and secure technology systems in a complex manufacturing and service environment.

Previously, Shibin was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Mafatlal Industries Limited, where he spent nearly seven years orchestrating enterprise-wide technology transformation. In parallel, he also served as Chief Executive Officer at Vrata Tech Solutions LLC and as Senior Advisor – IT (CIO) at Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute, offering strategic direction in healthcare IT and digital adoption.

His entrepreneurial leadership extended further during his tenure as CEO at Vrata Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where he led technology consulting and implementation across industries. Earlier in his career, Shibin spent close to a decade at Cipla, ascending through various leadership roles including Head – IT (IPD), IT Manager for Projects & Solution Architecture, and Project Manager – IT, delivering large-scale IT projects and infrastructure consolidation programs.

He began his career in technical and engineering roles at HPH Systems Pvt. Ltd. and Clearpoint Electronics Pvt. Ltd., where he laid the foundation for his robust expertise in software, systems, and infrastructure.

As the new Head of IT at Malabar Group, Shibin is expected to lead the next phase of digital transformation across the company’s retail, manufacturing, and global business operations.

Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
