Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 – Akasa Air has officially announced the appointment of Naarayan T V as its new Chief Marketing Officer, effective August 29, 2025. Naarayan will lead a broad portfolio comprising marketing, corporate communications & ESG, customer experience, eCommerce, customer loyalty, and partnerships, and will also serve as a member of Akasa’s Executive Committee.
The appointment comes at a time when Akasa Air is undergoing rapid expansion, working towards its ambitious vision of becoming one of the top 30 global airlines by the end of the decade. Naarayan’s appointment is seen as a strategic step in strengthening the airline’s brand and customer proposition as it accelerates its global growth plans.
With over two decades of experience across eCommerce, fintech, banking, D2C broking, and global consumer brands, Naarayan T V brings a powerful blend of digital-first expertise, strategic marketing vision, and customer-centric leadership. His work has spanned marketing communication, digital marketing, market research, UX, creative strategy, brand building, product launch campaigns, and more, delivering transformative brand outcomes across Indian and global markets.

At PayPal India, he led the first integrated brand launch, scaling merchant acquisition tenfold within a year. Recognized among India’s top CMOs, Naarayan has received several accolades, including the DMA Asia Trail Blazer Award in 2023 for innovation and marketing excellence.
