Pablo Eguez joins Advocate Health as Vice President People & Labor Relations

Dallas, Texas, United States, September 2025 – Pablo Eguez has been appointed as Vice President People & Labor Relations at Advocate Health, bringing more than 25 years of diverse experience in employee and labor relations, human resources strategy, and workforce engagement across the logistics, retail, healthcare, and technology sectors. In his new role, Pablo will lead Advocate Health’s Teammate, Physician, and Labor Relations Center of Excellence, supporting enterprise-wide consistency, proactive risk mitigation, and operational excellence in alignment with the organization’s people-first goals.

Prior to joining Advocate Health, Pablo was Vice President, Human Resources and Employee & Labor Relations – Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) at XPO Logistics, where he led a team responsible for over 10,000 team members across 134 service centers. He played a critical role in transforming the HR function from transactional to strategic, and led initiatives in employee relations, union avoidance strategies, talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, and leadership development.

Before that, Pablo served as Senior Director, Labor and Employee Relations at XPO, supporting multiple business units including Supply Chain, Transportation, and LTL. He designed and implemented scalable systems and training to proactively address workplace issues and reduce labor organizing risks, while also managing contract negotiations and corporate campaigns.

He also had an extensive 18-year career at Target, where he rose to the role of Director, Employee and Labor Relations, overseeing employee relations policies affecting more than 350,000 team members. His contributions included leading successful union avoidance strategies, developing training programs for HR teams and leaders, and managing high-stakes investigations involving harassment, discrimination, and policy violations. His efforts were instrumental during Target’s market transitions, including the company’s entry and exit in Canada.

Earlier in his career, Pablo worked in HR leadership roles at The Coca-Cola Company and as an Analyst, Accounting at IBM, gaining a strong foundation in distribution operations and financial systems early in his career.
