Biggleswade, England, United Kingdom, September 2025 – Laura Albon has been appointed as Head of People & Performance at Jordans Dorset Ryvita (JDR). In her new role, Laura will lead the company’s people strategy and performance culture, championing employee engagement, talent development, and wellbeing, while aligning people initiatives with JDR’s purpose-driven mission to inspire better wellbeing through naturally delicious food.
Prior to joining JDR, Laura Albon served as People Partnering and Talent Acquisition Lead at Ocado Retail, where she led people strategy and talent functions across multiple sites. She played a key role in driving succession planning, strategic workforce development, and organizational culture building within a fast-growing retail environment.
Before Ocado, Laura spent over nine years at Tesco in various strategic HR leadership roles. Her tenure included leading people partnering for Tesco Technology across global teams in the UK, India, and Poland, as well as deploying workforce strategies for UK head office, retail, and distribution. She also served as Future Workforce Manager, supporting transformation and trend-aligned people strategies for Tesco’s evolving business model.
Earlier in her career, Laura held talent and HR operations roles at Illumina, where she contributed to global recruitment processes and supported EMEA HR operations. She brings a combination of deep corporate HR expertise, agility in fast-paced environments, and a passion for people-first leadership.
