San Francisco, March 27, 2024, — Sequoia, renowned for its comprehensive solutions in benefits and compensation, revealed that an impressive roster of its clients has been recognized on the prestigious Forbes 2024 America’s Best Startup Employers List. Forbes, in collaboration with the market research giant Statista, embarked on an evaluative journey assessing 3,000 companies against stringent criteria to compile this list. Their methodology focused on three pivotal aspects: company reputation, employee satisfaction, and growth. Key factors such as employee benefits, corporate culture, parental leave policies, and headcount trends over the last two years were meticulously analyzed, utilizing millions of data points in the process. The culmination of this rigorous assessment was the selection of the 500 top-scoring startups for the final ranking.

Notably, more than 20% of the companies celebrated on this list have partnered with Sequoia or Sequoia One—Sequoia’s specialized PEO offering tailored for tech startups. These partnerships have been instrumental in guiding comprehensive total rewards strategies encompassing employee benefits, compensation, and holistic people programs.

Christina Sullivan, Chief Client Officer at Sequoia, expressed pride and congratulations to the client companies recognized, stating, “We want to extend our congratulations to every client recognized on this list. Their commitment to taking care of their employees goes far beyond industry standard, and they deserve to be celebrated. It is our honor to partner with these organizations to help them come through for their people and achieve business outcomes.”

Among the Sequoia and Sequoia One clientele, several startups have distinguished themselves by ranking in the top 50 on Forbes’ list, including Coalition at #2, Intersect Power at #4, and Lunar Energy securing the #10 spot, to name a few. This recognition not only highlights their excellence in fostering employee satisfaction and company growth but also underscores the value of Sequoia’s partnership in achieving their remarkable standings.
