Ltd., a member firm of Andersen Global, has announced the elevation of Chetan Sawhney to Director – Corporate Communications and PR. In this expanded role, Sawhney will continue to spearhead the firm’s communications and branding strategy, strengthening its visibility and engagement with clients, partners, and the broader business ecosystem.
Sawhney has been with Nangia Andersen India for over seven years, where he has played a transformative role in shaping the company’s public relations and brand communication strategy. Most recently, he served as Associate Director – Corporate Communications & PR, leading strategic campaigns, media outreach, and digital initiatives that positioned the firm among India’s leading tax advisory and professional services providers.
Prior to this, he worked as Assistant Manager – PR & Brand Communication at Nangia & Co LLP, where he managed branding and communication initiatives during a critical period of the firm’s expansion. His journey in PR also includes experience with Orion PR as Senior Executive and Perspective PR as Communications Executive, where he handled mandates for clients across lifestyle, IT, and corporate sectors.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Global Conferences and Exhibitions as an Operations Executive, gaining exposure to large-scale event management. He began his professional journey as an Intern at CNEB News, building his foundation in media and communications.
Sawhney’s leadership in corporate communications has been widely recognised. He was honoured with the Corporate Communication Leader of the Year (2024) by Transformance Forum and named among the 40 Under 40 PR & Communications Leaders (2024) by Agency Reporter. His sectoral expertise spans luxury, lifestyle, IT, finance, and politics, including his impactful tenure as Public Relations Officer to the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Chetan Sawhney holds an Executive MBA in Marketing from the University of San Francisco, USA, and an MBA in Marketing from Sikkim Manipal University. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from IP University, Delhi.
