Nikki Warren Appointed as Vice President Human Resources at Black Dragon Capital

Huntsville, Alabama, United States, September 2025 – Black Dragon Capital LLC (BDC), a growth-oriented private equity firm specializing in technology-driven industry transformations, has announced the appointment of Nikki Warren as its new Vice President Human Resources. In this role, she will lead people strategy, talent development, and organizational culture initiatives to support BDC’s expanding portfolio and mission of building diverse, high-performing teams.

Nikki most recently served as Global VP of HR at Verbit.ai, where for over three years she led global HR strategies, talent initiatives, and workforce development for the AI-driven transcription and captioning leader. She was instrumental in shaping employee engagement and enabling the company’s rapid global expansion.

Prior to this, she spent four years at CaaStle as Senior Director of People, where she drove HR transformation and people operations for the subscription-based fashion technology platform. Earlier, she spent nearly six years at Exact as Human Resources Director, North America, leading HR programs that supported large-scale workforce growth and integration.

Nikki also held senior HR leadership roles with Exegistics as Director of Human Resources, and at Amazon as Human Resources Manager, where she supported logistics and operations teams during a high-growth phase. Earlier in her career, she worked with Cost Plus World Market, Target, and Giles and Kendall in human resources and recruiting leadership roles, as well as ADTRAN and Snelling Staffing, where she began her journey in HR and recruitment.
