Chicago, United States, September 2025 — Assembly Health, a national provider of AI-powered revenue cycle management (RCM) and practice support services for healthcare organizations, has announced the appointment of Kevin Offel as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 4, 2025. This leadership transition marks a new chapter in Assembly Health’s growth trajectory as it continues to strengthen its position in the healthcare RCM space.
Kevin Offel succeeds Jack Fitzgibbons, who successfully led the company through a phase of rapid expansion. Fitzgibbons will now transition to an Executive Advisor role with Shore Capital Partners, Assembly’s investment partner, ensuring a smooth handover.
“Jack’s leadership laid the foundation for Assembly’s growth and success, and we are profoundly thankful for the vision and dedication he brought to the company,” said Chris Mioton, Chairman of the Board at Assembly Health and Partner at Shore Capital Partners. “Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome Kevin as CEO. He is a proven operator with a history of driving growth and cultivating high-performing teams. Kevin’s combination of strategic insight, healthcare expertise, and servant leadership makes him the ideal person to lead Assembly into its next stage of growth and success.”
With over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, Offel brings a strong track record of executive leadership at Great Lakes Dental Partners, Centennial Hospice, Heart to Heart Hospice, and My Dentist, where he served as CEO or President. His career began at GE Power Systems through its Junior Officer Leadership Program, where he completed Crotonville leadership training and earned a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
A U.S. Army veteran and former Blackhawk helicopter pilot, Offel graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and later completed his MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
“I am honored to lead Assembly Health at such an important time in its evolution,” said Kevin Offel. “Assembly has established a strong foundation, and I am confident we can build on that momentum to accelerate growth, deliver even greater value to providers, and strengthen our position as the leader in revenue cycle management.”
Beyond the boardroom, Offel has held several distinguished civic roles, including Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (Oklahoma), Commissioner for the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs, and Board of Advisors member for Emory University’s Master of Business for Veterans program.
