Singapore, September 2025 — Leonardo Perrone de Almeida has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at Ferrero. In his new role, he will lead the company’s global marketing strategy, brand innovation, and consumer engagement across its iconic product portfolio, driving continued growth and market leadership for one of the world’s most recognized confectionery businesses.
Leonardo has been with Ferrero for over two decades, steadily progressing through multiple leadership roles across regions and categories. Most recently, he served as Region Marketing Director – Premium Chocolate Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, where he spearheaded strategies to strengthen Ferrero’s presence across diverse Asian markets.
Before this, Leonardo was Commercial Planning, Trade Marketing & Shopper Marketing Director – China, leading critical initiatives in one of Ferrero’s most dynamic markets. He also directed the Kjeldsens Business Integration Project as Sales & Marketing Head for Greater China and Biscuits Platform, successfully managing integration and brand positioning.
Earlier, he held roles as Marketing Director China – Kinder & Nutella, where he drove growth for Ferrero’s flagship brands, and as Marketing Director – Southeast Asia, overseeing regional brand development. His journey also includes global responsibilities such as Senior Marketing Manager – Sugar Confectionery Emerging Markets and International Category Management based in Luxembourg, as well as roles as International Marketing Coordinator and Senior Brand Manager.
Leonardo began his career as National Marketing Manager at WML Coml. Import, where he developed strong expertise in consumer marketing and brand building that laid the foundation for his long-standing career at Ferrero.
