Manchester, England, September 2025 — Watercycle Technologies has announced the appointment of Kate Lawlor as its new Chief Financial Officer. In this role, she will guide the company’s financial strategy and governance as it continues to develop innovative, sustainable mineral extraction and water treatment systems.
Lawlor brings more than two decades of financial and leadership experience across professional services, real estate, and science and technology sectors.
Most recently, she has been a Partner at HERE, a Manchester-based venture helping owners and investors reimagine and reinvent their spaces with a focus on sustainability and value creation.
Before that, she was with Bruntwood SciTech, where she served as Chief Executive Officer from 2021 to 2023. Under her leadership, Bruntwood SciTech advanced its position as a leading property provider for the UK’s innovation and technology ecosystem. Earlier, she was the company’s Finance Director and Head of Tax & Treasury, driving financial governance and corporate growth strategies.
Lawlor began her career in finance as an Assistant Management Accountant at Spectus Window Systems before joining Deloitte UK, where she spent over eight years as Corporate Tax Senior Manager, advising clients on complex tax structures and business strategies.
