Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 – Vivek Jaiswal has been promoted to Executive Vice President at Kotak Life Insurance. In his new role as Chief of Staff to the CEO | Executive Vice President, he will continue to support the organization’s strategic priorities, business governance, executive decision-making, and key transformation initiatives as Kotak Life strengthens its position among India’s leading life insurance providers.
Prior to this promotion, Vivek Jaiswal served as Chief of Staff to the CEO | Senior Vice President, where he played a critical role in driving strategic projects, providing analytical assessments on business performance, governing critical business meetings, evaluating distribution-related investments, and supporting engagement with external stakeholders and industry forums. His work has contributed significantly to strengthening organizational alignment and execution of key business priorities.
Before assuming the Chief of Staff role, Vivek served as Senior Vice President – Executive Office, where he supported enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic planning activities. Earlier, he spent more than eleven years as Senior Vice President – Distribution Strategy and Support, leading agency distribution strategy, financial management, and operational support functions. During this period, he played a pivotal role in strengthening distribution effectiveness, enhancing business performance, and supporting the growth of one of the company’s most important channels.
Vivek’s long-standing association with Kotak Life spans nearly two decades. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Manager – Central Operations, overseeing commission and reinsurance payouts, PAN India sales hierarchy management, MIS, and quality control functions. Through a combination of operational excellence, strategic thinking, and business leadership, he steadily progressed through multiple leadership positions within the organization.
Over the course of his 19-year journey with Kotak Life, Vivek has built extensive expertise across distribution strategy, financial analysis, project management, governance, operational excellence, and executive leadership. His promotion reflects both his significant contributions to the company and Kotak Life’s confidence in his ability to help drive the organization’s future growth and strategic transformation.
