London, United Kingdom, October 2025 — Columbia Threadneedle Investments has announced the appointment of Louise Allen as Director, HR Specialist – US, EMEA & APAC. In her new role, Allen will lead a global team overseeing leave of absence programs, providing HR specialist support across regions, and offering employee relations guidance. She will also be responsible for ensuring scalable, compliant HR processes that enhance both operational efficiency and employee experience across multiple geographies.
Allen has been with Columbia Threadneedle Investments for more than four years. Prior to her elevation, she served as Senior HR Operations Manager – EMEA & APAC, where she managed HR operations across international markets, implementing technology solutions like Workday and ServiceNow to drive efficiencies and compliance.
Before joining Columbia Threadneedle, she spent over three years with Knight Frank in HR leadership roles. As HR Operations Manager and later HR Operations Team Leader, she streamlined HR operations across the organization, leveraging systems such as ServiceNow and SAP HR to enhance processes and deliver better employee support.
Earlier in her career, Allen worked at SLCE Architects as Operations Manager, overseeing administrative and HR functions, and at CBRE UK as PA to the Executive Director, supporting senior leadership with operational coordination.
She also gained valuable experience at Darwin Recruitment, where she progressed from Marketing Administrator to Business Support Manager, playing a key role in business operations for over three years.
