Orlando, Florida, United States, September 2025 – Michael Szukaitis has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer at United Aero Group. In this role, he will lead financial strategy, treasury, and operations, while playing a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and preparing it for its future trajectory as a P/E-backed organization.
Before joining United Aero Group, Szukaitis built a distinguished career of over two decades at Honeywell, where he held multiple senior finance leadership roles. Most recently, he served as ISC Finance BAP Director, managing an $11B revenue portfolio in the Industrial Automation business. In this role, he oversaw $1.3B in global inventory, drove productivity initiatives, and led a team of finance professionals in building controlled and efficient operating systems across international manufacturing sites.
Previously, he was CFO for the Commercial OEM BGA business, where he managed financial forecasts, pricing approvals, engineering budgets, and working capital for a $1B commercial aircraft customer segment. Earlier, as Global Aerospace C2C Finance Leader, Szukaitis led a worldwide team of 42 finance professionals overseeing $2B in receivables per month, implementing automation initiatives that improved efficiency in collections and risk management.
He also held the role of CFO for Honeywell’s Space Global Business Enterprise, a $600M segment, where he partnered with business leaders on growth, M&A support, and financial forecasting. Over his tenure, Szukaitis progressed through positions including Director of Finance, Sr. Finance Manager, Finance Manager, and General Accounting Manager/Controller, gaining deep expertise in aerospace finance, operations, and SAP systems deployment.
Earlier in his career, Szukaitis gained valuable experience at Farnam Companies as a Senior Financial Analyst, and later as Accounts Payable Manager and International Logistics Manager, where he drove cost savings, implemented process improvements, and expanded international sales.
