Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Harpreet Sidhu has been appointed as the Head of the Financial Services and Professions Group (FSPG) at Aon India. With a career spanning over a decade in liability risk management, his elevation underscores Aon’s commitment to strengthening leadership in the financial and professional services insurance segment. In this role, Harpreet will focus on advancing client-centric strategies, expanding specialized offerings, and driving innovation in liability and risk advisory.
Harpreet has been associated with Aon India for more than nine years, where he most recently served as Co-Head of FSPG. During this time, he played a pivotal role in managing large and complex liability portfolios and delivering tailored insurance solutions to diverse clients. His leadership has been instrumental in positioning Aon as a trusted partner for financial institutions and professional service providers navigating complex risk landscapes.
Before joining Aon, Harpreet developed deep expertise in financial lines underwriting through roles at TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited and AIG. At TATA AIG, he specialized in liability products and risk assessment, while his early career with AIG in New York provided him with valuable global exposure to financial lines and liability risk management.
With this appointment, Harpreet will lead Aon India’s FSPG in further enhancing its specialized capabilities, building resilience for clients, and establishing the firm as a leader in managing financial and professional liability risks across a dynamic business environment.
