Dhaula, Punjab, India, October 2025 – Rohan Bhargava has been appointed as the Chief People Officer – Paper Division at Trident Group India. With nearly two decades of progressive HR leadership within Trident and across the corporate sector, Bhargava brings extensive expertise in driving HR strategy, workforce transformation, and industrial relations. In his new role, he will focus on advancing people processes, strengthening HR operations, and fostering a high-performance culture to support Trident’s globally recognized paper business.
Most recently, Bhargava served as Chief People Officer – Yarn Punjab at Trident Group India, where he successfully drove HR and IR initiatives across the division. Prior to this, he held the role of Head of the Centralized Recruitment Cell, leading the design and execution of assessment and development frameworks under the organization’s Karamyogi initiative. He also worked as Functional Head of HR Shared Services MP, streamlining HR operations and contractor management processes for the Budni facility.
Earlier at Trident, Bhargava held leadership roles including Chief Coordinator of Business Transformation MP, Chief People Officer for Yarn Units 1–4, and Head of Contractor Management MP. His contributions during this phase included spearheading HR transformation, strengthening contractor governance, and enhancing employee engagement across multiple units.
Before these assignments, he served as Chief People Officer for Trident’s Sheeting Division at Budhni, overseeing end-to-end HR operations. Earlier in his career, he gained valuable corporate HR experience at the Chiripal Group as AVP – Corporate HR, where he worked on organization-wide HR processes and employee engagement strategies.
Bhargava’s journey with Trident began in 2008, where he grew from Deputy Manager to General Manager and later to Chief People Officer, playing an integral role in building people processes and organizational effectiveness across various business segments.
