Basel, Switzerland, September 2025 — Arxada has announced the appointment of Shannon French as Vice President Human Resources, marking a new chapter in its global HR leadership as the company continues to scale its operations across more than 100 countries.
Shannon has been with Arxada since 2022, most recently serving as HR Leader, Americas & Global HR Business Partner, CMC and Technology & Innovation. In this role, she played a pivotal part in shaping HR strategies across regional and global functions, driving people initiatives, and fostering talent across cross-functional teams.
Prior to joining Arxada, Shannon held several key roles at Kimberly-Clark, including Sr. Director, Human Resources for Corporate Functions, Global Supply Chain, and KCP Supply Chain. Over her 3.5-year tenure there, she led HR transformation initiatives and drove alignment between global business goals and people development strategies.
Before Kimberly-Clark, Shannon spent nearly a decade at Alcoa, where she served in a progression of HR leadership roles, including HR Director for Aluminum, GPP Casting, and GPP United States, as well as Talent Manager and HR Manager. Her leadership contributed significantly to Alcoa’s global manufacturing and innovation-driven workforce strategy.
Earlier in her career, she served as HR Manager at Praxair and began her HR journey as an HR Generalist at The Weiss Group, Inc.. Across these roles, Shannon built a strong foundation in employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
Shannon holds an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology and brings over two decades of HR leadership experience to her new role at Arxada. As Vice President Human Resources, she will lead the company’s global people strategy, organizational development, and talent management across 24 production sites and 14 R&D centers.
