Houston, Texas, United States, October 2025 – Chevron has announced the appointment of Gia Lott as Global Head of Talent Acquisition. In her new role, she will lead the company’s global talent acquisition strategies, focusing on building future-ready hiring frameworks that align with Chevron’s evolving energy and innovation agenda.
Gia Lott has been with Chevron for nearly 13 years, during which she has held multiple leadership roles spanning HR strategy, talent acquisition, and employee engagement. Most recently, she served as HR Manager, University Partnerships & Operations Global Talent Acquisition, where she played a key role in shaping Chevron’s global university relations and early-career hiring initiatives.
Prior to that, she worked as Manager, Talent Acquisition & Talent Management – HRSS, leading global teams based in Buenos Aires and Manila. Her role involved executing talent acquisition and talent management processes enterprise-wide and driving operational excellence across the company’s international HR operations.
Earlier in her Chevron journey, she served as HR Advisor for CTC, New Energies, and Corporate Groups, providing HR counsel to senior executives and managing HR processes for over 15,000 employees across 30+ countries. She was instrumental in developing enterprise-wide HR strategies and succession planning frameworks for leadership continuity.
Before that, she was HR Business Partner for Downstream & Chemicals – Manufacturing and Sr. HR Business Partner for Chevron Technology Ventures and Technical Computing, where she facilitated key employee relations and labor negotiations in a unionized environment, while enhancing workforce capability and leadership effectiveness.
Before joining Chevron, Gia worked as HR Generalist and Recruitment Consultant at TRS Staffing Solutions, a Fluor Company, and earlier as Technical Oil and Gas Recruiter with Aerotek and Employer Flexible, specializing in engineering and technical recruitment for the energy sector.
Beyond her corporate role, Gia serves on the Board of Directors for Career and Recovery Resources, Inc. and has been deeply involved with Chevron’s Black Employee Network (ERG), where she has served as President, Vice President, and currently President Emeritus, advocating for inclusion and empowerment within the organization.
She holds an MBA in Leadership and Organizational Capability from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School.
