Gurgaon, Haryana, India, October 2025 – SUEZ India, a leading global player in water and waste management solutions, has appointed Pawan Agarwal as its new Vice President – Human Resources. In his new role, Pawan will spearhead people strategy, organizational capability, and HR transformation to strengthen SUEZ India’s vision of delivering sustainable and smart water management solutions across the country.
With over 25 years of experience in HR leadership across infrastructure, manufacturing, and engineering sectors, Pawan brings deep expertise in talent management, organizational development, and industrial relations. His appointment marks a strategic move by SUEZ India to further enhance its people-centric culture and align HR practices with business transformation and sustainability objectives.
Prior to joining SUEZ India, Pawan Agarwal served as HR Director – Industrial, Projects & Services at Alstom, where he led HR strategy for large-scale industrial operations, engineering projects, and service businesses across India. He was instrumental in driving organizational transformation, workforce planning, and leadership capability enhancement across multiple business verticals.
Earlier, he served as HR Head – Digital & Infrastructure Systems Business, Alstom India, where he partnered closely with business leadership to shape HR strategies for engineering and digital domains. During this time, he contributed to Alstom’s growth in advanced signaling, metro, and transport systems by strengthening talent pipelines and embedding digital HR practices.
Over his 16-year journey with Alstom, Pawan held several key roles, including Director – Talent Management APAC, where he led regional initiatives across Asia-Pacific countries; Head – Talent Management India, focusing on talent acquisition and development; and HR Business Partner for multiple industrial businesses. His long tenure at Alstom reflects a consistent record of leading large-scale transformations, succession planning, and capability-building programs across complex global environments.
Before his leadership journey at Alstom, Pawan held HR roles with GE, Bechtel Corporation, and OCFL, where he gained strong experience in workforce design, industrial relations, and HR operations for engineering and project-based organizations. His early career with MG Gases and Cleave Global eServices helped him establish the HR function for new business setups and manage large greenfield projects.
