Indianapolis, Indiana, United States, October 2025 — Elements Financial, a leading consumer-owned credit union providing innovative financial wellness solutions, has announced the appointment of Emily Wolfington as its new Chief People Officer (CPO). With over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources, talent management, and employee engagement, Wolfington brings a strong record of aligning people strategy with business growth.
Wolfington has been an integral part of Elements Financial for more than five years, playing a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s culture and talent strategy. Before stepping into the role of Chief People Officer, she served as Senior Vice President of HR and Talent Management, where she led initiatives in leadership development, workforce planning, and performance enhancement. Prior to that, as Vice President of Human Resources and Training, she oversaw talent development programs and organizational capability building, reinforcing Elements Financial’s commitment to its employees’ professional growth.
Before joining Elements Financial, Wolfington served as Senior Director of Employee Success at Terminus (by DemandScience), following the company’s acquisition of Sigstr, where she had earlier served as Director and Senior Director of Talent. At Sigstr, she helped design and scale people operations for a rapidly growing marketing technology firm, emphasizing employee engagement and performance excellence.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles in human resources at Sharpen, a cloud-native contact center platform, where she served as HR Director and Director of Operations. Her work there included creating structured hiring frameworks, developing onboarding programs, and establishing sustainable HR systems that improved retention and engagement.
Her professional journey began at Kohl’s Department Stores, where she managed staffing, performance, and development programs for over 100 employees. Later, as a Staffing Specialist at That’s Good HR, Inc., she gained deep expertise in recruitment and placement across HR, finance, and administrative functions.
With this promotion to Chief People Officer, Wolfington now leads the HR strategy for Elements Financial, focusing on organizational development, leadership cultivation, and employee well-being. Her leadership continues to strengthen Elements’ reputation as an employer of choice, fostering an environment where collaboration and purpose drive performance.
