With nearly two decades of international HR leadership experience across India and Australia, Shashank brings deep expertise in designing and executing cross-cultural people strategies that align organizational performance with purpose and values.

In his new role, Shashank will lead Affinity’s global HR strategy, focusing on talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement. Known for his belief that “culture doesn’t scale by accident but by design,” he aims to build intentional, inclusive, and adaptive people systems that nurture connection and agility as the company continues to expand its global footprint.

Shashank Mishra brings extensive experience in global HR operations, transformation, and organizational design, having held key leadership positions with top international firms across multiple sectors.

Before joining Affinity Global, Shashank served as Global Human Resources Director at Anchanto, where he led HR transformation during a period of rapid growth and organizational modernization. His leadership was instrumental in strengthening talent acquisition, engagement, and capability building, as well as driving employer branding and policy innovation to support business expansion.

Previously, he worked as HR Director (Fixed-Term) at Fresh Prints, a New York-based apparel start-up, where he set up and streamlined HR systems during a high-growth phase. His contributions focused on HR systems implementation, organizational design, and talent management, supporting the company’s scaling journey.

Before that, Shashank was National HR Manager for Australia at SoftBank Robotics Asia Pacific, where he established and managed HR operations across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland, and Perth. He built the HR function from the ground up, supporting the company’s growth in AI and robotics across the ANZ region.

He also served as People & Culture Lead – APAC at Instarem (now NIUM), a leading fintech unicorn backed by Visa and Fullerton Financial. There, he built HR infrastructure to support global expansion across Singapore, Australia, and India, contributing to the firm’s evolution into a cross-border payments leader.

Earlier in his career, Shashank held HR leadership roles at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, BNY Mellon, Hutchison 3 Global Services, and Intelenet Global Services, gaining diverse exposure across professional services, financial institutions, and technology-driven enterprises.

An alumnus of the University of Mumbai, Shashank holds a Master of Management Studies in Human Resources. He is also certified in CPBA, CPVA, and Trimetrix assessments, underlining his commitment to leadership science and behavioral analytics in people strategy.
