Madhvi Chhetri joins Cognyte as People Director – APAC

Gurgaon, Haryana, India, October 2025 — Madhvi Chhetri has joined Cognyte as People Director – APAC, bringing over 13 years of diverse experience across multiple facets of Human Resources. In her new role, she will lead HR strategies across India, Israel, Cyprus, and other parts of the APAC region, focusing on advancing people-centric initiatives that align closely with Cognyte’s business objectives. Known for her expertise in HR business partnering, leadership development, employee engagement, and performance management, Madhvi will play a pivotal role in shaping Cognyte’s organizational culture and driving a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative workforce across its global operations.

Prior to joining Cognyte, Madhvi held several key HR leadership roles at Amdocs, where she served as Global HR Business Lead and Global Human Resources Business Partner. During her tenure, she spearheaded large-scale transformation programs, enhanced employee engagement across geographies, and designed people strategies to strengthen organizational agility and leadership effectiveness.

Before Amdocs, she worked with MakeMyTrip as HR Business Partner, where she managed a range of HR initiatives including grievance handling, talent development, performance management, and employee engagement programs. Her initiatives contributed significantly to strengthening HR-business alignment and improving employee experience across multiple regions.

Earlier, Madhvi was part of Aptech, where she advanced from Management Trainee – HR Generalist to Assistant Manager – HR, managing talent acquisition, performance management systems, C&B operations, and people engagement. She also gained early experience with GMR Group through a project on competency mapping and culture diversification, which laid the foundation for her analytical and people-oriented approach to HR.

An alumna of Pune University, Madhvi is admired for her integrity, strategic vision, and ability to build trusted partnerships across all levels of an organization. Her appointment reinforces Cognyte’s commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion, development, and excellence as it continues to strengthen its global workforce.
