Houston, Texas, United States, October 2025 – PURIS, a U.S.-based leader in sustainable water infrastructure renewal solutions, has announced the appointment of Chansity Mitchell as Director of Human Resources. With nearly two decades of progressive HR leadership experience across industrial, manufacturing, and public sector organizations, Chansity brings deep expertise in organizational transformation, employee engagement, and human capital strategy to her new role.
In her new position, Chansity will lead PURIS’s human resources strategy, aligning workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational performance initiatives with the company’s mission of innovation and environmental responsibility. She will play a key role in shaping the culture and driving people-centric initiatives across PURIS’s vertically integrated operations serving the water infrastructure sector.
Before joining PURIS, Chansity served as Director of Human Resources at PBI International, LLC, where she successfully developed and executed HR strategies that strengthened business performance and operational alignment across a multi-site organization of 300 employees. She led initiatives in HR technology integration, total rewards, compliance, and executive workforce planning, while advising senior leadership on organizational design and human capital investments.
Earlier, she held the position of Human Resources Manager at USA DeBusk, overseeing HR operations across 42 locations in 14 U.S. states and Canada. Her leadership focused on regulatory compliance, post-acquisition integration, and employee relations, including spearheading the implementation of an electronic document management system and launching data-driven HR initiatives that enhanced organizational transparency and efficiency.
Previously, at the Houston Airport System, Chansity served as Employee Engagement and Experience Manager, where she designed and implemented engagement programs that advanced employee satisfaction and retention. Her work in strategic alignment and HR advocacy contributed to strengthening Houston Airport System’s workforce culture and operational excellence.
Chansity’s HR journey also includes pivotal roles at Hilton, Target, The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD, and other organizations, where she led initiatives in leadership development, succession planning, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion. Her early experiences in human resources provided a strong foundation in people strategy, change management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Chansity holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management from Houston Christian University. Her leadership philosophy centers on aligning people strategies with business outcomes, fostering workplace innovation, and ensuring compliance excellence.
