Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Preeti Thukral has joined Lupin Ltd. as Vice President – Devices Category Head with the Global Procurement team, bringing extensive experience across drug delivery devices, program management, technology leadership, healthcare innovation, product development, procurement alignment, and pharmaceutical project execution.
In her new role at Lupin Ltd., Preeti Thukral will head the devices category within the Global Procurement team. She will support Lupin’s device-related procurement strategy and contribute to the company’s broader focus on complex generics, biotechnology products, patient-focused healthcare solutions, and global pharmaceutical innovation.
Before joining Lupin Ltd., Preeti served as Associate Vice President at Biocon Biologics, where she contributed to device-related program leadership and healthcare-focused initiatives. Her experience at Biocon Biologics strengthened her expertise in drug delivery device development, program management, stakeholder collaboration, and execution of strategic healthcare projects.
Earlier at Biocon Biologics, Preeti served as General Manager – Program Management Devices, where she led drug delivery device development programs aligned with the company’s vision of enhancing global healthcare through innovative and affordable biopharmaceuticals for patients, partners, and healthcare systems across the world.
Prior to Biocon Biologics, Preeti worked as Technology Head at Berry Global, Inc., where she spent more than 14 years in technology leadership. Her long tenure at Berry Global helped her build strong experience in product development, technology management, costing, cross-functional collaboration, and business-focused technical execution.
Preeti also served as Project Manager at IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited, where she gained early experience in pharmaceutical project management and execution. Her career reflects a strong combination of chemical engineering, technology, pharmaceutical operations, device development, and strategic program management.
Preeti holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, adding a strong technical foundation to her leadership experience in healthcare, devices, and pharmaceutical innovation.
