In this new role at Molecular Devices, Preet P. will contribute to the company’s people strategy as it continues to support scientific discovery for academia, pharma, and biotech customers worldwide. Her appointment adds strong human resources leadership experience across technology, life sciences, digital, insurance, automotive, cybersecurity, and enterprise software organizations.

Before joining Molecular Devices, Preet served as Head of Human Resources at Covered Insurance, where she led HR priorities for the organization in a remote work environment. Her responsibilities strengthened her experience in HR leadership, people operations, employee support, and organizational growth.

Earlier, Preet was Human Resources Director at Hogarth, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, she supported HR strategy and people initiatives in a creative and business services environment, building further experience in employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and HR business support.

Prior to Hogarth, Preet worked with Rivian, where she held roles as Sr. Manager, Business Partner and Manager, People Partner. Her work at Rivian focused on people partnership, HR business support, leadership alignment, and employee-focused initiatives during a period of organizational growth.

Preet also served as HR Business Partner at JFrog and Senior Principal HR Business Partner at Symantec, gaining strong experience across HR business partnering, people strategy, employee relations, workforce support, and organizational development in technology-led environments.

Earlier, she served as Director of Human Resources at Balbix, where she was hired as the company’s first employee and helped build, set up, manage, and lead the full spectrum of HR and operations. She supported the CEO in scaling the company, defining an open and collaborative culture, implementing HR initiatives, and managing areas such as recruitment, retention, employee engagement, HR processes, performance, payroll, benefits, immigration, 401(k), and stock programs.

Preet also spent more than four years with Bromium, where she grew through roles including HR Manager, Senior HR Manager, and Director of Human Resources. She helped scale the company from an early-stage team to more than 300 employees across multiple states and countries, while building HR functions, policies, compliance structures, payroll, benefits, HRIS systems, immigration processes, stock option administration, office operations, and employee programs.

Her earlier career includes HR and recruitment roles with Zazzle, Visa, and Google, where she worked across recruitment coordination, seasonal hiring, onboarding, background checks, employee records, HR systems, candidate management, and employee support.
