Plano, Texas, United States, October 2025 — NexRev, a leading provider of energy management systems and technology solutions, has appointed Sam Touchstone as its new Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Sam will oversee all financial operations, including SaaS accounting, M&A activities, international expansion, treasury, and FP&A. His appointment marks an important step in NexRev’s continued growth and innovation journey as the company scales its global operations.
Before joining NexRev, Sam served as Chief Financial Officer at Echelon Fitness, a private equity-backed global connected fitness company offering equipment and digital subscription content. Over his five-year tenure, he led the organization through high-growth phases, managed new ERP implementation, and oversaw multiple PE investment rounds, including a major round with Goldman Sachs. Sam was responsible for global financial operations, risk management, strategic budgeting, and strengthening cross-functional leadership across finance, supply chain, and technology.
Prior to Echelon, Sam held the role of Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration at Lodge Manufacturing, where he managed financial, IT, and risk functions, ensuring long-term sustainability and operational efficiency. He previously served as Vice President, Finance at PRADCO Outdoor Brands, a division of EBSCO Industries, where he led financial strategy for a diversified portfolio of leading hunting and fishing brands.
Earlier in his career, Sam worked with several notable organizations including Ballard Designs, The Home Depot, Books-A-Million, and Porsche Cars North America, where he successfully led financial transformation, ERP implementations, and operational improvement initiatives. His early leadership experiences at WH Smith, Innogenetics, and Rental Inc., along with his service as a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provided him a strong foundation in discipline, strategic focus, and operational excellence.
With more than three decades of experience across retail, manufacturing, and technology-driven enterprises, Sam brings a proven record of financial leadership, M&A execution, and business transformation to his role at NexRev.
