Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland, November 2025 — EV charging and energy platform Virta has announced a strategic expansion of its leadership team following the appointment of Juhani Hintikka as Group CEO. The company has named Mauro Carobene as Chief Operating Officer, Nina Ariluoma as Chief People and Culture Officer, and Tom Jansson as Chief Financial Officer — a move that brings seasoned public-company expertise to accelerate Virta’s leadership in fleet electrification, energy management, and market integration.
Driving the Next Phase of Growth
Since its founding in 2013, Virta’s software platform has powered the launch of more than 1,000 charge point operators across Europe and Southeast Asia. Today, the Virta platform manages over 120,000 charging points representing 3 GW of capacity, helping displace more than 100 million liters of fossil fuels annually. This exceptional trajectory placed Virta at the top of the Financial Times and Statista 2014–2024 long-term growth ranking of European companies.
Building on that momentum, Virta is now preparing for its next growth phase, focusing on EV energy technologies and fleet electrification through both organic and inorganic expansion. The recent acquisition of fleet-tech company Northe underscores the company’s commitment to scaling its capabilities in connected mobility and smart-energy integration.
