Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia, November 2025 — Amelia Abrahams has been appointed as Head of People Experience at Empact Group, marking an exciting new chapter in her accomplished career as a people and culture leader. In this role, she will lead initiatives designed to strengthen employee engagement, enhance capability development, and align people experience with Empact Group’s purpose-driven mission to create lasting impact through human-centred design and strategic collaboration.
Amelia has been an integral part of Empact Group for nearly two years, most recently serving as Manager, where she contributed to business improvement and workforce strategy initiatives across the public and private sectors. Her people-first, co-design approach helped organizations build engaged teams and drive sustainable transformation that bridges strategy, culture, and performance.
Before joining Empact Group, Amelia held leadership roles in management consulting and capability development, including a tenure as Manager at Scyne Advisory and PwC Australia, where she led complex HR and organizational change projects for major clients. Her work centered on enhancing employee experience, developing leadership pipelines, and fostering inclusive workplace cultures.
Earlier, Amelia spent over eight years at ActewAGL, where she served in multiple senior roles, including Group Manager – Talent and Capability and Group Manager – Capability and Culture. She was instrumental in designing and delivering leadership programs, employee engagement strategies, and organizational capability frameworks that drove measurable improvements in performance and culture across ActewAGL, Evoenergy, and Icon Water.
Her early career included diverse experiences in project management, learning and development, and people operations across APSC, Retailworld Resourcing, and TS14+, where she honed her expertise in stakeholder management, workforce planning, and culture transformation. Amelia’s journey reflects her unwavering commitment to creating workplaces where people thrive and organizations achieve sustainable success through empowered teams.
