Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia, November 2025 — Skye Howell has been appointed as Head of People & Culture at Bindaree Food Group, one of Australia’s leading processing and sales companies. In her new role, Skye will spearhead the company’s people strategy, focusing on leadership development, organizational culture, and HR transformation to support Bindaree’s continued growth across its diversified operations.
Before joining Bindaree Food Group, Skye Howell spent nearly eight years at Costa Group, one of Australia’s leading horticultural companies, where she held several senior roles. Most recently, as National Manager – People, Safety and Operational Compliance for Costa Wholesale, she played a key role in driving leadership coaching, HR alignment, and employee engagement across complex and high-risk business environments. Prior to that, as Group WHS Manager and National Safety Manager – Berry Category, she led national safety strategy integration, strengthened organizational alignment with ISO 45001 standards, and embedded a proactive safety culture through inclusive leadership and development initiatives.
Earlier, Skye served as Global Safety Manager at Partners in Performance (part of Accenture), where she managed international health and safety operations, conducted global risk assessments, and developed targeted executive safety training. Her leadership helped strengthen enterprise resilience across multiple jurisdictions and high-risk project environments.
Before transitioning to the food and agriculture industry, Skye spent over 14 years at Essential Energy, where she held multiple strategic roles, including Fleet Business Operations Manager and Manager – Safety, Health & Environment Programs. There, she was instrumental in implementing the company’s enterprise-wide incident management system and integrating safety within operational processes—a milestone that elevated transparency and performance culture across the organization.
Her early career included project management, business analysis, and systems implementation roles, providing her with a deep understanding of technology, operations, and organizational transformation—skills that continue to inform her strategic HR leadership approach today.
