With over 25 years of experience in building purpose-driven, people-centric organizations, Sunitha will lead Arvind’s HR strategy with a focus on organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and employee experience.
In her new role, Sunitha will work closely with business leaders across Arvind Ltd. to drive a culture of innovation and inclusion while deepening the organization’s commitment to talent development and long-term growth. Her leadership will be pivotal in aligning people practices with Arvind’s evolving business priorities and sustainability-driven ethos.

Before joining Arvind Ltd., Sunitha served as CHRO at Ather Energy for over eight years, where she played a transformative role in shaping the organization’s culture and leadership ecosystem during its rapid growth phase. At Ather, she led people operations and strategy, embedding values, innovation, and inclusivity into the core of the organization.
Prior to Ather, she held the position of CHRO at Matrimony.com, where she strengthened HR governance and implemented strategic talent initiatives. She also held senior leadership roles at Mphasis, AIG Systems Solutions, and Société Générale Software, driving HR transformation across technology and financial services domains. Earlier in her career, she contributed to HR leadership functions at Polaris Software Lab, NIIT, and J&B Software, establishing her as a well-rounded and visionary HR professional.
