With a strong foundation in employer branding, talent development, and organizational culture, Maik brings over a decade of experience in shaping people strategies that connect purpose, growth, and inclusivity.
Maik joined LEW in 2024 as Head of People Development, where he focused on advancing leadership capability, learning frameworks, and employee growth across the company’s operations in southern Germany. His success in enhancing the organization’s people development strategy led to his expanded portfolio, now encompassing Employer Branding and Diversity, reflecting LEW’s commitment to building an inclusive and innovative workforce aligned with its mission of driving the energy transition.
Before joining LEW, Maik spent more than six years at E.ON, where he held progressive roles in employer branding and recruiting strategy. As Team Lead Employer Branding & Recruiting Strategy, he managed a cross-functional team of communication and content specialists, spearheading initiatives to strengthen E.ON’s employer value proposition across German business units. His leadership included developing social media campaigns, embedding Employer Value Principles, and integrating data-driven recruitment strategies that elevated the company’s talent presence across markets.
Earlier in his tenure at E.ON, Maik served as Expert Employer Branding & Recruiting Strategy, leading international projects to enhance candidate experience and unify branding efforts across global regions. His strong grasp of stakeholder engagement, digital communication, and storytelling played a pivotal role in positioning E.ON as a preferred employer within the energy sector.
Prior to E.ON, Maik built his consulting expertise as a Consultant in Employer Branding Strategy & Conception at WESTPRESS, where he led projects on employer branding, market research, and talent communication for clients across multiple industries. His early career included HR and marketing roles with REMONDIS Gruppe and C4C Group, alongside hands-on experience in the healthcare sector as a Registered Nurse, shaping his deep understanding of people development and human connection in complex organizations.
