Kolkata, West Bengal, India, January 2026 — IFB Industries Ltd has appointed Saurav Adhikari as Independent Director, strengthening its board with a seasoned leader who brings over four decades of experience spanning FMCG, consumer durables, technology, corporate strategy, private equity, and governance.
In his new role, Saurav Adhikari will contribute independent oversight and strategic guidance as IFB Industries continues to strengthen its governance framework and pursue long-term value creation across its manufacturing and engineering businesses.
Currently, Saurav serves as Founder & Senior Partner at Indus Tech Edge Fund, a technology-focused growth fund, and holds several board and advisory roles across India and global markets. He is a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, Independent Director at Accelya Solutions India Ltd., Independent Director at Goodricke Group Limited, and Board Member at Roadzen, a Nasdaq-listed AI-driven insurance technology company. He is also Member of the Board of Management at Shiv Nadar University.
Earlier, Saurav was President – Corporate Strategy at HCL Corporation, where he played a key role in shaping group-level strategy and long-term growth initiatives. He previously served as Corporate Vice President – Strategy at HCL Technologies, and held leadership positions including President – BPO North America at HCL BPO and President – HCL Infinet at HCL Infosystems, contributing significantly to the group’s global expansion.
Before joining the HCL Group, Saurav was CEO of Tefal India at Groupe SEB, where he led the establishment and growth of the brand in the Indian market. He also held the role of Vice President at PepsiCo, and spent over a decade at Unilever, rising from Management Trainee to Chief Operations Manager, building deep expertise across sales, marketing, and international trading.
In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Saurav served for over 14 years as Senior Advisor at the Shiv Nadar Foundation, working closely with its leadership to advance large-scale education and social impact initiatives across India.
