Los Angeles, California, United States, November 2025 — Jamie S. has taken on the role of Director, People Experience – Universal Television Entertainment at NBCUniversal, where she will lead people experience strategy to advance culture, creativity, and organizational belonging across Universal Television Entertainment. In this position, Jamie will collaborate closely with senior leadership to champion a people-first approach, design forward-thinking engagement programs, and build an environment that empowers employees to create world-class entertainment.
Before joining NBCUniversal in this capacity, Jamie spent more than six years at Initiative, where she progressed through multiple leadership roles in the People Experience function — most recently serving as Associate Director, People Experience. During her tenure, she played an instrumental role in shaping employee engagement, workplace culture, and talent experience across multiple U.S. locations including Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.
Prior to that, Jamie served as Manager, People Experience at Initiative, where she contributed to cultural development efforts, supported leaders in talent engagement strategies, and helped re-establish connection and workplace identity during the transition back to in-person environments post-pandemic. Her work resulted in measurable improvements in belonging, leadership alignment, and employee participation in cultural initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Jamie held a role as Buying Manager, Partnerships (Amazon Team) in Los Angeles, where she collaborated across cross-functional campaign teams to support major entertainment and brand marketing initiatives. She developed onboarding programs, strengthened collaboration across stakeholder groups, and supported unbiased talent sourcing efforts — which shaped her early foundation in people-centric leadership.
Jamie began her professional journey with NBCUniversal, serving in roles including Sales Planner and Account Services Representative, where she contributed to media planning execution, partnership management, and strategic cross-platform proposal development. Her return to NBCUniversal in a senior People Experience leadership capacity reflects a full-circle progression — bringing creative, cultural, and people-development expertise back to a brand central to her professional foundation.
