Karnataka, India, April 2026 — Ashok Kumar has started a new position as Chief Technology Officer – New Product at ThinkSeed Systems Pvt. Ltd., marking an important milestone in his technology leadership journey. His appointment reflects extensive experience across product development, devices R&D, embedded systems, multimedia software, and automotive technology, and comes as ThinkSeed Systems continues to strengthen its role in production-grade middleware solutions for automotive customers.
Before joining ThinkSeed Systems Pvt. Ltd., Ashok Kumar was associated with Radisys, where he held the roles of Senior Director, Devices R&D and Director Devices R&D. Prior to that, he worked with Visteon India as Product Development Manager and Architect, further building his experience in product architecture and automotive-linked engineering leadership.
Earlier, he spent more than eight years with AllGo Embedded Systems Pvt Ltd as Product Development Manager. A significant phase of his career was built at Motorola Mobility, where he held multiple leadership and engineering roles including Technical Lead and Sr. Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager – Multimedia/Embedded System Software, and Senior Staff Engineer. These assignments reflect deep experience across multimedia systems, embedded software, Android-based smartphone platforms, camera software systems, codec development, and engineering leadership.
In the earlier phase of his professional journey, Ashok Kumar was associated with D.R.D.O. as Scientist, where he was involved in the design, development, and integration of hardware and software modules for defence systems. Together, his experience across ThinkSeed Systems, Radisys, Visteon India, AllGo Embedded Systems Pvt Ltd, Motorola Mobility, and D.R.D.O. reflects a long and accomplished leadership journey across embedded systems, product development, and advanced technology engineering.
With strong expertise across automotive software, devices R&D, embedded engineering, and new product development, Ashok Kumar brings a distinguished and well-rounded profile to his new role. His appointment as Chief Technology Officer – New Product is expected to support ThinkSeed Systems Pvt. Ltd. as it continues to deliver end-to-end automotive software solutions and accelerate innovation in its core product areas.
