In her expanded role, Anne will lead Murphy USA’s strategic initiatives across learning, development, employee engagement, employer branding, and internal communications, playing a critical part in shaping the company’s talent strategy as it continues its rapid growth across the United States.
Prior to her new appointment, Anne Cauthron served as Director, Learning and Development at Murphy USA for nearly six years, where she was instrumental in developing leadership programs, enhancing employee engagement frameworks, and strengthening organizational capability across a network of over 17,000 employees.
Anne’s earlier role at Murphy USA as Senior Manager, Learning and Development saw her drive transformational initiatives, working closely with business leaders to align talent development strategies with operational goals. Her leadership significantly contributed to Murphy USA’s ability to meet evolving business needs through a skilled and engaged workforce.
Before joining Murphy USA, Anne served as Director of Support Services at BioDis, overseeing training, development, communications, and support service operations. Prior to that, she spent five years as Vice President, Support Services at IQ-2, leading strategic initiatives that enhanced service delivery and internal capabilities.
Earlier in her career, Anne held leadership roles in retail management and training with industry giants such as Starbucks Coffee Company and Sweet Factory, where she managed multiple store operations, succession planning, training, and leadership development programs. Her early foundational experience includes pivotal roles at Blockbuster Entertainment and The Luggage Center, where she specialized in training and organizational development.
