In this strategic role, Chaitra will lead integrated marketing initiatives to enhance Workday’s presence in India, strengthen its demand generation capabilities, and build deeper engagement with enterprise clients through thought leadership, digital campaigns, and customer-focused brand storytelling.
With nearly two decades of experience in enterprise technology and B2B marketing, Chaitra brings deep expertise in positioning technology brands for growth, transformation, and market impact. Her appointment underscores Workday’s focus on expanding its footprint in India’s rapidly growing enterprise technology landscape and driving awareness through innovation-led marketing.
Before joining Workday, Chaitra served as Head of Marketing – India at Automation Anywhere, where she played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s brand positioning in the automation and AI space. She also led key marketing initiatives at ServiceNow, where she drove C-suite engagement programs and strategic events, and at Autodesk, where she led account-based marketing (ABM) and industry campaigns across India and SAARC.
Earlier in her career, Chaitra held leadership positions at Mirum India (a WPP company) and AnimationXpress India Pvt. Ltd., gaining rich experience in digital communications, content marketing, and media strategy. Her early foundation in journalism and public relations shaped her ability to craft authentic brand narratives that connect with audiences across technology sectors.
