Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2025 — Lloyd’s, the world’s leading marketplace for insurance and reinsurance, has appointed Manish Bhandari as the Chief Financial Officer – India Branch. In this leadership role, Manish will oversee finance operations, regulatory compliance, reporting, and financial governance for Lloyd’s India Branch, contributing to the organisation’s continued growth and financial integrity in the region.
With extensive experience in finance across global insurance and financial services organisations, Manish brings strong expertise in accounts finalisation, financial controls, and strategic financial management. His appointment marks an important milestone for Lloyd’s expansion and operational excellence in India.
Manish has spent almost nine years at SCOR SE, where he most recently served as Senior Manager Finance, contributing significantly to the organisation’s financial operations and regulatory reporting in the Mumbai office. His work strengthened financial controls and compliance mechanisms, supporting SCOR’s financial governance framework.
Before this role, he also served as Finance Manager at SCOR SE, where he played an important part in driving finance processes for the organisation’s India operations. His responsibilities included account management and financial reporting across SCOR’s business functions.
Earlier in his career, Manish held the role of Team Leader – FSS at Willis Processing Services India Pvt. Ltd. (WTW), where he managed finance processes and supported various financial shared services operations. Prior to that, he worked at ICICI Lombard GIC Ltd. as Manager – Finance & Accounts, strengthening financial accuracy, process integrity, and financial transaction oversight.
Manish began his career at Phillips Carbon Black Ltd., first as Management Trainee and later as Assistant Manager – Finance, where he handled key finance responsibilities, including managing accounts for the company’s upcoming facility at Mundra, Gujarat. He also briefly served at Jotna International Investments Ltd. in Nigeria, gaining valuable international exposure in finance operations.
