Dallas, Texas, United States, November 2025 — Katie Rand has stepped into the role of Vice President at Goldman Sachs in the firm’s Private Wealth Management division, marking an important milestone in her financial services career. Her progression reflects her strong analytical acumen, client-focused mindset, and commitment to excellence—qualities that are deeply aligned with Goldman Sachs’ standards of leadership.
Before taking on this new position, Rand served for nearly three years as an Associate at Goldman Sachs in Dallas, Texas, where she supported the complex wealth management needs of high-net-worth clients and contributed to portfolio strategy, client engagement, and long-term investment planning. Her work strengthened the firm’s capacity to deliver tailored, high-touch financial solutions.
Prior to her associate role, Rand spent almost three years as a Senior Analyst at Goldman Sachs, also in Dallas, Texas, where she developed deep foundational expertise in financial analysis, investment products, and client service enablement. This period was instrumental in shaping her understanding of the wealth management ecosystem and preparing her for expanded responsibilities.
Before joining Goldman Sachs, Rand held a role as an Assistant Strategist at Hearts & Science for nearly one and a half years, contributing to media strategy, audience research, and data-driven planning. This experience helped her build strong analytical and communication skills that continue to support her work in financial advisory environments.
Her career foundations also include an impactful Content Analysis Internship with the Pew Research Center in their Religion and World Affairs division. During this time, she conducted research contributing to Pew’s widely cited global religious restrictions report. She also completed a Legislative Internship at the Texas State Capitol, gaining early exposure to policy analysis, public affairs, and structured research.
