This appointment recognizes his longstanding contributions to Su-Nav’s global people operations and his nearly three-decade career in maritime management, crewing leadership, and industrial relations.
Over the past six years at Su-Nav Group, Vinayak has been instrumental in strengthening the company’s manpower excellence across multiple geographies. His journey at Su-Nav includes key leadership roles as Director – Industrial Relations & Manpower, Director – Manpower, and Director – Manpower & Travels, where he played a central role in building scalable crewing systems, optimizing people operations, and driving compliance and governance frameworks. His deep understanding of seafarer management and global crewing practices has helped Su-Nav strengthen its international workforce operations and business integrity.
Prior to joining Su-Nav, Vinayak spent over eight years with V.Group, where he held multiple strategic roles including Fleet Personnel Manager, HSEQ Manager – Crewing, Business Development Manager – India, and Director at VS Marine. His leadership at V.Group was pivotal in shaping large-scale maritime operations, enhancing HSEQ frameworks, and driving client-focused business development.
Vinayak’s career began at Anglo-Eastern, where he sailed for over a decade across bulk carriers, general cargo, and container vessels, progressing from Cadet to Second Officer. His subsequent roles as Marine Consultant, Maritime Trainer, and Safety Superintendent across global organizations, including Hebei Ocean Shipping Co., further enriched his expertise in maritime safety, training, and regulatory compliance.
With his appointment as Managing Director – Manpower, Vinayak is set to lead Su-Nav’s global workforce transformation initiatives—focusing on crew excellence, governance, capability development, and sustainability-driven operations in alignment with the group’s long-term mission.
