Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, November 2025 — Dvara Kshetriya Gramin Financial Services Private Limited (Dvara KGFS) has announced the appointment of Ramaswamy Subramanian as its Deputy Chief Executive Officer, marking a pivotal leadership addition as the organization continues to expand its footprint in delivering inclusive financial services across rural India. With over two decades of diverse experience across banking, digital lending, fintech, product management, and large-scale financial operations, Ramaswamy brings a strong track record of innovation, customer-centric strategy, and operational excellence to his new role.
Ramaswamy re-joins Dvara KGFS, where he earlier served as Chief Product Officer, leading key initiatives in digital transformation, credit frameworks, underwriting models, process excellence, and marketing. His prior contributions helped shape the company’s digital channels and laid the foundation for several scalable and sustainable business models aimed at rural empowerment.
Before returning to Dvara KGFS, Ramaswamy served as Chief Product Officer at Karnataka Bank, where he led product groups across assets, liabilities, digital channels, co-lending, business solutions, and contact centre operations. Under his leadership, the bank accelerated its digital banking strategy and introduced product innovations designed to enhance accessibility and efficiency for a diverse customer base.
Earlier, as Head of Products and Regional Head – West at Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd, he managed retail product portfolios, digital initiatives, and branch operations across Maharashtra and Gujarat. His entrepreneurial journey as Founder & COO of EzeeBucks, a digital lending platform for low-income salaried segments, reflects his vision of using technology to improve financial access for underserved communities.
Ramaswamy’s career also includes impactful leadership roles across major financial institutions such as Aimia Inc, IndiaFirst Life Insurance, Edelweiss Financial Services, Reliance Money, HDFC Bank, and Global Trust Bank, where he gained holistic exposure across loyalty management, retail finance, insurance, and branch banking.
In his new capacity as Deputy CEO at Dvara KGFS, Ramaswamy will be instrumental in advancing digital inclusion, strengthening product strategy, and driving customer-centric transformation to further the company’s mission of enhancing financial well-being in rural India.
