Oslo, Norway, November 2025 — Vidar Gullachsen has started a new position as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at EMP Secure, where he will lead commercial strategy, growth initiatives, customer engagement, and market expansion for the company’s cybersecurity and IT infrastructure services. His appointment marks a significant step in strengthening EMP Secure’s commercial capabilities across Norway and Northern Europe.
Before joining EMP Secure, Vidar most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at Advania Norge, where he oversaw Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Internal IT, SMB strategy, and key customer projects. His contributions were instrumental in supporting growth, strengthening operational systems, and advancing the organization’s market position across Northern Europe.
Prior to this, he was the Managing Director for MSP at Advania Norge, leading the largest business unit with 500+ employees. Vidar managed a major post-merger transformation, executed “The Advania Way” culture framework, improved retention, enhanced customer satisfaction, strengthened decentralized leadership, and delivered strong commercial outcomes with consistent double-digit profitability.
Earlier, Vidar contributed significantly as Customer Development Director at Advania Norge (and earlier at Visolit before acquisition). He established structured account planning, improved customer-first engagement, reduced churn, and strengthened strategic alignment across managed services clients, driving strong commercial performance and relationship growth.
Before entering Advania, Vidar spent more than five years as Business Development Director at Sopra Steria in Oslo, managing strategic customer relationships, leading client development initiatives, and negotiating contracts with major Norwegian organizations. He also led consulting teams and strengthened commercial operations to drive customer success and enterprise growth.
In his early career, Vidar held several senior leadership roles including General Manager at Systemintegrasjon AS, Senior Client Manager at Steria, Sales Manager roles at Logica, managerial positions at Siemens Business Services, and engineering and consulting roles in Norway’s defence organizations. He began his career at IBM, gaining early commercial and client-facing experience that shaped his long-term expertise.
